Updated over 4 months ago

flowit notifications are designed to reliably deliver relevant information at the right time—in the language you choose. This article explains the notification features, when they are used, and how they help you stay organized and productive.

🔔 What flowit Notifications Offer

flowit notifications help users stay focused and informed by providing:

Each message is only sent once.

⚙️ Global Notification Settings

Admins can now define globally which notification types (e.g., Reminder, To-Do, Info) are sent for which functions (e.g., Reviews, Surveys, Evaluations, Feedback) and through which channels (In-App, Email, SMS, Beekeeper).

Under Admin > Settings > Notifications, admins can centrally manage these notification settings.

  • To enable SMS and Beekeeper, these channels still need to be configured and activated further down the page. Once activated, the status “Active” will appear in the table above.

  • The Email channel cannot be fully disabled because critical notifications (such as onboarding emails or password resets) must always remain functional. However, function-specific notifications can be individually deactivated in the table.

🔁 Reminder Notifications

flowit sends automatic reminders five working days before important deadlines to help you stay on track:

📬 Evaluation-Specific Notifications

Evaluations are supported by several dedicated notification types:

  • Start Notification: Sent when the evaluation begins.

  • Completion Notification: Sent when both parties have completed their input and results are available.

  • Pre-Deadline Reminder: Sent five working days before the deadline.

  • Incomplete Evaluation Reminder: Sent exactly at the due date if not completed, and repeated at regular intervals until resolved. This reminder can be deactivated if needed.

✨ Email Design & Categories

flowit notification emails follow a clean, structured design that highlights key information at a glance. Each email includes a category label at the top left.

📂 Categories:

  • Info: Informational messages that may be relevant but don’t require action.

  • To Do: Indicates an action you need to complete on flowit.

  • Reminder: Gentle nudges about open tasks.

💡 Summary

flowit notifications help you act at the right time, in the right language, and with the right context. They are designed to support your workflow—not interrupt it.
