In this article, youβll learn how to efficiently create, edit, and manage survey guides within the flowit platform. These guides are a central element in structuring and standardizing feedback processes in surveys.
π What Are Survey Guides?
Survey guides are templates that serve as a structured aid during the survey process. They define questions, topics, and evaluation criteria, helping ensure consistency and quality in the feedback process.
π§ Features at a Glance
Currently, it is not possible for customers to create survey templates independently. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
As a user, you can create a survey from scratch. Hereβs how it works:
Create a new survey and either select an existing guide to customize,
β
βor choose the βEmpty Survey Templateβ to build a completely new guide.
β
β
Once youβve created your new guide, you can immediately send it out as a survey to your employees.
π‘ Note: If youβd like to save a newly created guide as a reusable template, please contact your Customer Success Manager. They can add the template to the system for you.

ποΈ Defining Rating Scales
This feature is available across all flowit modules. In surveys, the rating scale can be set individually for each question.
Click the Edit icon to modify a question as usual.
β
βThen choose the scale on which the question should be answered.
β
β
When analyzing surveys β on the AI dashboards β the scales will continue to appear via mouseover, so nothing changes here.
π‘ Tip: We recommend using a single scale across all questions in a survey to maintain clarity and comparability.
β Why Is This Useful?
Standardization: Ensures consistent evaluation criteria across all surveys.
β
βEfficiency: Reusable templates save time when setting up new surveys.
β
βFlexibility: Customizable for different teams, roles, or survey cycles.
