🌟 Overview of the Review Process in flowit

Updated over 7 months ago

flowit helps organizations conduct structured and transparent conversations between employees and managers—without replacing the personal dialogue. In this article, you'll learn:

  • What types of reviews exist

  • How the typical review process works

  • Why this structure is beneficial

📋 What Types of Reviews Are There?

A “review” in flowit means that two or more parties prepare for a conversation using a guided template within the system. This is completed before the actual meeting takes place.

Common use cases for reviews include:

  • Performance reviews

  • Probation period discussions

  • Exit interviews

  • Check-ins

  • ...and many other types of two- or multi-party discussions.

👉 Important: flowit does not replace the personal conversation—it supports it by enabling thorough preparation and documentation.

🔄 How the Review Process Works

1. Invitation & Information

The process begins with inviting the participants. They receive information about:

  • how the process works

  • any internal policies that apply

  • how to log in and get started

2. Completing the Review ✍️

All parties fill out the review guide in flowit within a defined time window. This ensures structured preparation for everyone involved.

3. The Actual Conversation 🗣

Once all required participants have completed their entries, answers become visible to each other. Now, the real conversation takes place—based on the written input.

👉 Tip: Keep the final deadline in mind. The review should be completed—including conclusions and agreements—by that date.

4. Documenting Conclusions & Agreements ✅

During or after the meeting, key points are documented in flowit. These might include:

  • Goal setting

  • Contract adjustments

  • Development actions

5. Closing the Review

Once everything is documented, both parties mark the review as complete. This confirms all entries and officially closes the review.

🛑 Note: After completion, no further entries can be added to the review.

🎯 Why This Is Useful

  • Structured preparation for important conversations

  • Transparency & traceability of all agreements

  • Efficient documentation—always accessible

  • Clear deadlines and shared responsibility

With flowit, the review process becomes easier—and more impactful.
