📝 Creating Surveys in flowit

Surveys are a powerful tool in flowit to gather feedback, measure satisfaction, and collect insights from your team or customers. This guide walks you through the process of creating a survey from scratch — from selecting a template to publishing and sending it out.

Templates

Choose from a variety of pre-built templates or start fresh with an empty survey template. This gives you flexibility depending on how specific or broad your survey goals are.

Survey Settings

Customize the following:

  • Survey title

  • Anonymity toggle

Draft Mode

You can save your survey as a draft and come back to edit it later.

Question Editor

Edit existing questions, remove irrelevant ones, and add new questions or entire sections to structure your survey logically.

Publishing and Invitations

Once you're happy with your survey, publish it. flowit will automatically send out invitations at the scheduled start date 🎯.

🚀 How to Create a Survey – Step-by-Step

  1. Click on "Surveys" in the top menu.

  2. Create a New Survey

    The previous „Survey creation circle" has been removed and replaced with a new button:


    • To create a survey, go to “All Surveys” and click on “New survey” to access the creation page.

  3. Choose a template.
    ​
    ​

    • You can pick an existing template and adapt it, or start with an “empty survey template”.
      ​
      ​

  4. Set up the survey settings:
    ​
    ​

    • Title, scope, start/end dates, and whether responses are anonymous.
      ​
      ​

    • Click Save as draft & edit.
      ​
      ​

  5. Edit your survey questions.
    ​
    ​

    • Add, remove, or change questions and sections as needed.
      ​
      ​

  6. Click Save.
    ​
    ​

  7. Return to the survey overview by clicking "Back to Surveys".
    ​
    ​

  8. Publish your survey.
    ​
    ​

    • It will go live on the start date, and flowit will send out the invitations automatically.
      ​
